Ethnographic and eco tour in Georgia, visit local family thrift in countryside, taste home made wines made according old traditions in clay wessels, Bio wines, take part in Chacha distillation process, taste natural products and meet hospitable people. You can explore almos all regions of Country from Kakheti to Svaneti, in each place diners are served according local cuisine and traditions.
 
 
Day 1
arrival in Tbilisi airport, meeting and check in at the hotel.
 
Day 2
meeting with the guide at the hotel lobby and start the tour in Tbilisi; visit old town district to see the remarkable traditional architecture with unique balconies, ornaments and lifestyle; visit the dry bridge fair, porcelain enamel shop and continue to Sarajishvili factory to taste famous brandy made according the old customs since 1884. Finish the day at the family owned restaurant to enjoy home made wines from different parts of the country and traditional food.
 
Day 3
drive to west Georgia, on the way visit old capital Mzkheta and wine cellar in village Chardakhi: tasting of Bio-wine. Arrival in Kutaisi and walk in the old town, excursion in Gelati Monastery founded in 1106 where for a long time was one of the main cultural and intellectual centers in Georgia. Wine tasting in Khareba winery at Terjola and accommodation at the family guesthouse, simply but tasty diner with village fried chicken, Khachapuri with a typical handmade Imeretian cheese made from cows milk, Kompot - traditional clear juice obtained by fresh fruit.
 
Day 4
start to feel Caucasus mountain villages in Svaneti province known for their architectural treasures and picturesque landscapes. On the way visit Enguri dam and arrival in Mestia. Two nights will be hosted by local family to take a part in traditional ritual of Svanetian hospitality and taste homemade dishes cooked with local, natural products giving them unique taste and aroma.
 
Day 5
visit Middle Age village Ushguli located at the foot of Shkhara in 2200 meters above see level, famous towers erected mainly in the 9th-12th centuries which are part of the UNESCO Heritage site of Upper Svaneti; return to Mestia.
 
Day 6
drive to Bakuriani, on the way stop in Zugdidi to taste Megrelian kichen richly mixed with spices. As a must at the table are Ghomi (boiled corn flour) with Suluguni cheese, meat with spicy sauce Adjika and home-grown vegetable salads from the own garden. Visit village Shrosha, home of pottery makers, host and jar maker Mr. Temur will welcome guests in his cozy studio and show Kvevris (wine jars), fine Dokis (wine or water vessels); different and often symbolic wine cups, so characteristic for Georgian festive tables, visitors can take part of making process. Arrive in Borjomi: walking in the park and taste famous Borjomi mineral water; sleep one night in Bakuriani guesthouse.
 
Day 7
continue to Kakheti province known as wine region, on the way stop at bakery of Surami’s Nazukhi; visit Tsinandali museum with beautiful garden and wine cellar, arrival in Telavi and Kakhetian Barbeque-Dinner with famous local grill - Shashlik, backing of Georgian bread Lavashi and attending Chacha (local Vodka) distillation process in Twins Old Cellar. Night in Kakheti.
 
Day 8
visit Alaverdi monastery and antic cellar where wine is made by monks according the old traditions; excursion in Telavi old city and food market; Visit Carpet house and ancient wine cellar: nearly all traditional household winemaking equipment and vessels are still preserved in the family’s ancient wine cellar. Guests can taste local honey and homemade honey vodka. Continue to city of love: Signagi -overlooking the Alazani Valley and Caucasus mountains. Arrival in Tbilisi; farewell diner accompanied by live folk songs and the toastmaster Tamada.
 
Day 9
free time, some shopping (Goodwill, Dry Bridge market), visit famous Sulphur baths and enjoy spring baths; transfer to Tbilisi airport for departure.
