Day 1: Visit Uplistsikhe and Stalin's birth place and Museum in Gori, arrival in Kutaisi - one of the ancient cities in Georgia and in the world. It was the capital of the kingdom of Kolkha (in Greek sources the city was mentioned as Kutaia) in the 2nd millennium BC. According to the myth of Argonauts, the Greeks set out on their ship Argo to get the Golden Fleece, which the King of Kolkhis had in his possession. The Temple of Bagrati (10-11 cc) is one of the most important monuments that represent early Georgian architecture, historic and architectural complex of Gelati (XI c.)famed as an educational centre even beyond the borders of Georgia; stay overnight in Kutaisi.
Day 2: Departure to balneological resort in Borjomi. Sightseeing excursions to the Romanoffs Residence Palace and garden, tasting of Borjomi mineral spring water and stroll in the national park of Borjomi-Kharagauli, Town view from the hill of Borjomi Plateau and amusement park. Stay overnight in Bakuriani (ski resort near Borjomi).
Day 3: Visit Sapara Monastery which includes high quality 14th century frescoes; Khertvisi Fortress build in the 2nd century BC and Khertvisi town which was the center of Meskheti region in the 10th-11th centuries; continue to cave town Vardzia – 13th storey city cut out of solid rock. Return to Tbilisi, or continue to Batumi.
Day 4: A walk in the Batumi Boulevard and old-town district with lots of cafes, shops and churches, Batumi Catholical Curch, trekking to the Botanical garden, museum of history and the Art gallery, Gonio fortress, Sarphi resort and drive till the Turkish border and return to Tbilisi.
